General Infomation
Mastodon Ridge is a smoke-free environment. Animals are not allowed in the outdoor gardens with the exception of service animals.
Hours of Operation
- Monday to Sunday, 10:00am to 5:00pm
- May 17th through October 20th
- Summer tour hours are weekdays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Reservations are not required for small groups and individuals. Larger groups and those with special needs should call ahead and reserve space at Tel: (902) 639 2345 / fax (902) 639 9776, or email us
- Management office hours are between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM EST Time, 7 days a week.
- During the off season: by appointment only for groups of 10 minimum.

Parking
Tour bus parking is available at the top of Mastodon Ridge (clearly marked with signs). Passenger cars may park in the shaded areas.
Food Service
Onsite food service is available from Tim Horton’s and KFC restaurants. Light snacks and ice cream may be obtained from our Pavilion Building.
Our outdoor gardens are open to the public and offer free picnic and lunch areas. Sorry, there are no refrigerated facilities available for lunch bag storage.
